BISHOP Alan Winstanley (the ex vicar of St. John’s ) has asked all the local churches to pray for his wife Vivian who is suffering from terminal cancer. We pray for her and  her family.

All parishioners are invited to follow  Bp. Alan’s example and turn to the community for prayer in times of need. Cards are always available at the back of church for naming the person in need and these are brought to the altar  at Mass every morning.

Likewise the Thursday prayer meetings are open to all people in time of need.
