Altar Servers

Boys and girls who have made their First Holy Communion are welcome to serve on the altar. Please tell Fr Michael if you child would like to participate in this way. Training is given by the group leader.

Greeters, Collectors

Every week greeters are at mass to welcome parishioners and visitors and generally to offer support in the narthex.

Collectors & Counters & Gift AidPlease contact any collector or Fr. Michael if you are interested in becoming a collector or a counter. If you are a UK taxpayer, any donations you make to the church can be boosted by 28% through the Gift Aid scheme.  By completing a simple Gift Aid declaration, you will give the parish permission to reclaim the tax from HMRC. Please contact Duncan McGrath to obtain a Gift Aid declaration.

Eucharistic Ministers
Our Eucharistic ministers provide valuable support to the parish, both at mass and in the wider community, taking holy communion to our sick or housebound parishioners. Please speak to Fr. Michael if you are considering becoming a Eucharistic Minister

Readers

The rota above shows the 14 parishioners who participate in the celebration of all masses throughout the year.

The lectern is approached by Readers in a spirit of humility with conscious knowledge of the privilege and blessing of the opportunity of being invited to announce Sacred Scripture. Prayerful preparation helps the participants deepen their understanding and the understanding of listeners within the congregation.
