NEW GIFT AID SCHEME<\/b><\/p>\n

The Catholic Church will be able to claim from HM Revenue and Customs an extra 20 per cent for each donation of up to \u00a320.00 without requiring the giver to complete a form. The scheme allows\u00a0 Catholic parish churches to be treated in the same way as Church of England churches which have\u00a0 historically\u00a0 been treated as\u00a0 separate charities.
