Ninth Station<\/strong><\/p>\n

We adore Thee, O Christ, and we praise Thee.<\/em><\/strong>
\nBecause by Thy Holy Cross Thou hast redeemed the World.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>It\u2019s difficult to be old in an uncaring World where many feel that the elderly have nothing to offer.\u00a0 This Station gives hope to the elderly, to the depressed and to those who have given up on life.\u00a0 Jesus is near the end of the road and is completely drained of strength.\u00a0 This time it is more difficult to rise.
\n\u201cMy God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?\u201d\u00a0<\/em>
\nBut he gets up and staggers on.<\/em><\/p>\n

Lord of all hopefulness,
\nbring to the sick your comfort and healing.
\nBe to the elderly and bedridden their stay and companion.
\nTeach patient tolerance to all who are no longer young.
\nGive to the dying the grace of perseverance
\nwhich you won for them in your third fall,
\nthe assurance that when the final moments of life ebb away
\nyou will come and take them to yourself.<\/p>\n

Let us proclaim the Mystery of Faith.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dying you destroyed our death.
\nRising you restored our life.
\nLord Jesus, come in glory.<\/p>\n

I love Thee Jesus, my love above all things;
\nI repent with my whole heart for having offended Thee.
\nNever permit me to separate myself from Thee again.
